Judith Driscoll and John Feighan attended the ASC 2018 Conference in Seattle, Oct 28- Nov. 2, where they delivered an invited talk and a poster - well done, John. Judith also co-organised and spoke at the Larbalestier symposium, honouring 50 years of David Larbalestier’s contributions to the field of Applied Superconductivity. She was also happy to see Dr. Bob Hammond from Stanford honoured for his materials contributions to the field, receiving the IEEE James Wong Award, which she got the year before, and she was thankful for the many years of great collaborations and discussions.
