Bonan visited LANL as a student guest for two weeks. He had several meetings with local scientists discussing about modelling interfaces.
Bonan presented his work on using ab-initio random structure searching (AIRSS) to determine interfaces between STO and CeO2 and got several local scientists interested. He also learned more about other people's work and attended seminars and networking events.
