On her Far East visit, Prof. Driscoll first had a very interesting visit to our sponsor, Sunam, to discuss our joint work: http://i-sunam.com/home/en_company,1,1,1,1
She also attended the Chinese Chemical Society meeting (http://www.chemsoc.org.cn/meeting/31st/) and delivered an invited talk. She also caught up with ex-students and colleagues. CCS was a massive meeting with over 10,000 participants. APL Materials sponsored one of the sections, headed by Prof. Zhongfan Liu, one of our advsiory board members. After that, she visited and gave a talk at a new Energy Centre at Souzhou University. Finally, she visited Shanghai, and met more old friends and had discussions with AIP colleagues from the Beijing office.
