Judith felt very humbled in December to receive 2 awards for the work of her and her team who do so much in the lab! She was awarded the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) Griffith Medal and the Materials Research Society of India (MRSI) Silver Jubilee International Medal.
The IOM3 Griffith Medal, presented for distinguished work and science contribution, was received alongside Prof. Torralba from IMDEA Materials.
For the second award, Judith was happy to meet Dr Tuhin Maity (past researcher in the group) in the wonderful city of Jodphur, India. Judith joined the 33rd Annual General Meeting of MRSI and the 4th Indian Materials Conclave and the International Conference in Asia (IUMRS-ICA 2022, Dec19-22) at Jodhpur, India. During the conference, she presented a talk and was honoured with the MRSI Silver Jubilee International Medal for 2022.
