Driscoll Research Group
I joined the group in Oct 2022 as a PhD student. I obtained an integrated MEng degree in Materials Science at the University of Oxford (2018-2022). My research focuses on investigating the electrical properties of tungsten(VI) oxide. Several synthesis methods that create strained WO3 thin film are explored, including ALD, PLD and sputtering, followed by characterisation of the film by XRD, Raman etc. The special behaviour in WO3 creates potential applications in electronic devices. My work is funded by Krishnan-Ang Studentships for Overseas Students in the Natural Sciences by Trinity College Cambridge.
