Grant award for neuromorphic Tsinghua - Cambridge Joint Research

The Driscoll group has been awarded a grant incollaboration with Prof. Li from Ts Tsinghua University (PI: Huanglong Li from Dept. of Precision Instrument; co-PI: Fang Wang from Dept. of Precision Instrument; co-PI: Rong Yu from School of Materials Science and Engineering; co-PI: Pu Yu from Dept. of Physics). The grant will support research on the key material mechanism and functional design of low-power oxide-based neuromorphic computing devices. This includes i) new oxide materials design, ii) ionic dynamics studies in oxide systems and iii) designing new oxide-based devices for neuromorphic computing
