Judith was very honoured to deliver the Dorn Lecture at Northwestern University, Chicago. She was very excited to hear of all the amazing research being done by the faculty there, particularly the early career faculty.

We were delighted to have Prof. Shinbuhm Lee, previous group member, and now based in DGIST, give a talk on his recent work on Freestanding VO2 Thin Films for Wearable Sensors. Hearing about the challenges faced when going from lab scale to device and how these were faced was very inspiring.

The first NeuMat Winter School Event was held in Churchill College, Cambridge. The group had a wonderful Christmas Party hosted by Judith. Everyone brought lovely drinks and food.  

Stuart Parkin’s 70th birthday conference and dinner, along with other Cambridge colleagues and other international friends, at Schloss Ringberg in Germany.

We bid farewell to Jonathon Lee who came from HHMFL who stayed with us for 6 months. We are excited to continue to collaborate.

We were pleased to welcome Prof Wei Li from Nankai University on a visit today. It is great to hear how well his research is going.

The Driscoll group enjoyed an Autumn celebration with all members at Trinity College. 

Benedetta was honored to visit and be hosted by Prof. Lee at DGIST. She gave a talk on ionotronics devices in intelligent physical computing as part of the Global Innovation Week, alongside brilliant speakers. Thank you to the team for hosting!
