Ziyi presented a poster, investigating Thin-Film Design Strategy for Enhancing Cyclic Endurance in WO3-Based Resistive Switching Memory Devices. Benedetta gave a talk on the topic of Sodium-Controlled Interfacial Resistive Switching in Thin Films. Markus had the privilege of serving as the designated UK expert on Neuromorphic Computing for the British Standards Institution at the International Electrotechnical Comission meeting in London. Work is ongoing to compile an international technical report on neuromorphic device measurements.

It is great to see in the news sent to many people today from the University of Cambridge Alumni team. Judith spent an exciting day in the Chemistry Dept. delivering an invited lecture, and doing career mentoring of materials chemistry researchers, as all as having discussions with senior materials chemistry staff.

PhD students Bendetta and Yuri were awarded a Microfunding grant from the Quantum and Advanced Materials technologies for a Sustainable Society (QAMSS). This project will aid their studies towards the investigation of protonic conductive metal oxides, and how these can be used to mimic synaptic plasticity for neuromorphic applications. They present…
